Weyco
Credit Union experienced a great
deal of change during 2008. The
year started off with the
re-election of three existing board
members, those being Mr. Jim Allan,
Mr. Randy Rodgerson, and Mr. Ricky
Swain at the 49th annual meeting.
One new
employee was hired in 2008. Mrs.
Michelle Lawrence was hired into our
Plymouth office to fill a vacated
teller position.
In
2008 Weyco Credit Union continued to
improve its products and services
while maintaining the highest level
of security for its members. An ID
theft detection and prevention
program was added to our online
banking system which improved
functionality and increased it
security. Another significant
change for the credit union occurred
when the Board of Directors approved
a new 30 year mortgage program which
began on January 1, 2008.
I
would like to thank my fellow Board
Members, our Committee Members and
Staff for their valuable time and
deeply appreciated service. I would
also like to extend my appreciation
to each of you, our member – owners,
for your continued support of our
credit union.
