Weyco
Community Credit Union has
experienced much change over its
fifty-plus years of operation. The
Board and Management have continued
to respond to industry changes in an
effort to keep up with an ever
changing financial and technological
market. It is this kind of industry
awareness which makes Weyco a strong
and stable organization. No action
is taken by the Board without giving
careful consideration to what its
effect will be on Weyco’s
member/owners, local economy, and
growth potential.
Weyco
held its annual meeting on January
28, 2011. One of the major items on
the evening’s agenda was the filling
of three positions on the Board.
Two existing board members were
re-elected to their positions, those
being Mr. Ricky Swain and Mr. Randy
Rodgerson. A third position was
filled with the election of Mr.
Raymond Williams, Jr.
Weyco
Community Credit Union continues to
improve its products and services
while maintaining the highest level
of security for its members.
Multifactor Authentication security
and 128 bit encryption on our
Netbranch site provides multiple
layers of security to keep your
vital financial information
secure. Plans are underway to make
Netbranch even more secure and
enable members to customize their
screens. 2011 and 2012 promise to
be hallmark years in Netbranch
access and user management.
By
far, the most exciting
accomplishment of the credit union
has been the opening of a new branch
office in Williamston, NC. The new
branch is located at 210 West Blvd.
This has been a long time goal of
the credit union and on October 21,
2010 the branch was opened.
Three employees staff this office
which is to be a full service
facility with hours of operation
being set as Monday through Friday
from 8:00am until 5:00pm.
Weyco’s Board Members, Committee
Members, Management and Staff
continue to work diligently for its
member/owners to ensure that we
continue to earn the confidence and
trust that have been bestowed upon
us. I would like to take this
opportunity to thank the membership
for allowing us the privilege of
serving as its Board. We view our
service as an honor and a
responsibility that should never be
taken lightly.
I
would also personally like to extend
my appreciation to each of you, our
member/owners, for your continued
support and patronage of our credit
union. Best wishes to you and your
families in 2011. We look forward
to serving all of your financial
needs as we look forward to a
successful future.
Sincerely,
James
Arnold, Board President |
